Jimmy B, Computer Guy Customer Agreement

We at Jimmy B, Computer Guy take malware and PC problems very seriously and will take every precaution available while working on your system, but would like you to know what the risks are before your computer goes on the bench.

VIRUS / MALWARE REMOVAL- Jimmy B, Computer Guy (us, we) will make every effort to safely and effectively remove all of your viruses and malware. You, the client, by allowing us to take your computer agree that you will indemnify and hold Jimmy B, Computer Guy harmless. Viruses in a computer can cause many problems. Jimmy B, Computer Guy cannot control what the virus affected in the computer before removal or after attempted removal. We therefore cannot be held liable for damages.

Work Authorization - Jimmy B, Computer Guy will never perform work that has not been approved by Client.

CONFIDENTIALITY - We take your privacy very seriously. The contents of confidential user data are not inspected, opened, or viewed and will only be accessed with your approval in order to perform the necessary work. Under no circumstances will Jimmy B, Computer Guy be held liable for security issues related to having had access your computer. Due to the requirements of the repair, if requested by you, and at possible extra cost, we will back up your data to your flash media to insure that you have all the files you started with when the computer is returned to you. Jimmy B, Computer Guy will destroy any data backed up on their backup devices immediately upon completion of the job and will never hold this data.

INDEMNIFICATION OF DAMAGES - Jimmy B, Computer Guy will take every precaution to preserve all data and software on the computer. Occasionally, due to the nature of software repairs, data loss may occur and/or software operation may be compromised. You, the client, agree that you will indemnify and hold harmless Jimmy B, Computer Guy for any and all data or software that may be lost or erased, as well as for any consequence of the erasure or loss of that data or software. You, the client, agree that you will further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jimmy B, Computer Guy for any and all hardware or software malfunctions or accidents that may occur before, during or after work is performed on Clients' computer, and for any results thereof.

LIMITATIONS OF SERVICE - Jimmy B, Computer Guy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be held liable for any damages incurred through this denial of service.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES- Client expressly agrees that use of Jimmy B, Computer Guy is at clients' sole risk. Jimmy B, Computer Guy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use of or the inability to use Jimmy B, Computer Guy. All sales of refurbished equipment are final, but are covered by a 30 day hardware only warranty. Jimmy B, Computer Guy reserves the right to replace a defective unit with one of equal or greater value or refund money. The 30 warranty will be void if the product is used in such a way as to deliberately cause damage to the unit. Because most computers are connected to the internet, Jimmy B, Computer Guy cannot be held responsible for viruses or malware that your machine may pick up, therefore, the operating system and other software carries no warranty.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS - This Jimmy B, Computer Guy General Terms and Conditions (Terms and Conditions) is provided to you (the client) in connection with the services and products offered and/or rendered by Jimmy B, Computer Guy. These terms and conditions comprise the entire agreement between the client and Jimmy B, Computer Guy with respect to services rendered and products supplied/delivered.
